Shorthand and Consecutive Interpretation.
A bilingual stenographer (English-German) uses shorthand during a consecutive interpretation. The UNO Secretary General, Kofi Anan, speaks in English. She takes down everything he says, and then interprets orally, into German, to the German Chancellor, Gerhard Schroeder.
